Yale forklifts offer efficient drive motors that are proven for their reliability, durability and utmost performance. In addition, the Yale Hi-Vis masts provide innovative engineering for solid construction and unsurpassed visibility.
Very Narrow Aisle
This type of narrow aisle forklift has been made intentionally to maximize storage density. Very Narrow Aisle Trucks manufactured by Yale are especially designed for pallet handling and case picking applications which range from 16 to 55 ft. The company features the NTA for high density warehousing situations that require maximum throughput applications.
NTA Productivity Enhancements
Electronically Programmable Pantograph: Electronically programmable pantographs offer great stroke lengths. This particular feature eliminates the time-consuming "double-biting" at deposit and pick up stations.
Motorized Pallet Trucks: The Motorized Pallet Trucks are also referred to as walkie-riders, walkie trucks or rider pallet trucks. The operators walk behind the walkie version which is helpful for moving cargo in small places. The walkie-rider and rider units are useful for transporting loads over longer distances. These models are designed so that the operator can stand on a small platform.
AC Motor Technology: This technology provides a more responsive directional changes, with a more smooth and rapid acceleration and high starting torque.
Smart-Glide Height Sensing System: The Smart-Glide Height Sensing System offers maximum travel speed at a variety of fork heights. It also offers step-less speed control by its ability to optimize travel speed.
Tri & Quad Form Mast: This stiff mast provides operator stability and minimizes deflection.
CANbus Controller: Wiring is reduced by 40% with the CANbus controller and electrical connections are lessened by 25 percent with the controller that results in improved visibility through the mast and better dependability overall.
Auto Deceleration System: The Auto Deceleration System enhances productivity and reduces operator fatigue by eliminating the need to manually use the service brake.
Thermal Management System: This system adjusts and monitors performance and component temperature. This enables trucks to run a lot longer and cooler.
180° Rotating Turret Head: This especially designed rotating turret head allows the operator to easily service both sides of the aisle and greatly maximizes storage density.
"Pneumatic" is a Greek term for "spirit". "Pneuma" means something which is filled with air. Most tires you use or see these days are more than likely pneumatic tires. In fact, most modern commercial transportation and private motor vehicles could not function without pneumatic tires.
Definition
Pneumatic tires as defined by Webster's on-line dictionary are described as tires which are made from reinforced rubber, that hold compressed air. Any tire that requires air pressure to hold its form is considered to be a pneumatic tire.
History
The invention of the pneumatic tire has been credited to Irish surgeon John Boyd Dunlop, who during 1888 developed the very first practical pneumatic bicycle tire. During eighteen ninety five, the Michelin brothers Édouard and André, the Michelin brothers were the first to use pneumatic tires on a car during a race.
Identification
Pneumatic tires are made from numerous bands of corded or plys fabric. Plys are usually coated with rubber that allows them to hold air pressure. Bias ply tires have the plys overlaid at a certain angle to the other layers. Radial tires have all plys laid at 90 degrees to the tire body or casing.
KInds
Tube tires are a type of tire which requires a rubber inner tube in order to hold the air pressure. bicycle tires, motorcycle tires on spoke rims and older bias ply truck and car tires utilize inner tubes. Tubeless tires have a stiff bead on the sidewall edges which forms an airtight seal with the wheel. This eliminates the need for an inner tube.
Exceptions
Pneumatic tires can be punctured and lose air pressure that makes them unsuitable for specific applications. Tires tires used by the military, used on forklifts, tires utilized in construction are usually constructed with solid rubber or filled with resilient foam.
